How Do You Animate a Simulation in Solidworks?

In this case, we will move our load down so that it is applied at the bottom of the hole instead of at the top of the block. Again, click on “Create Keyframe”.

In our case, since we want the toast to pop up when we press down on the lever, we need to constrain the lever so that it can only move vertically.

To do this, click on the lever component in your assembly tree then click on “Add/Edit Constraints” in the popup menu (or go under Tools > Component Design > Add/Edit Constraints). In the Add/Edit Constraints window that appears, make sure that only Vertical is checked under Type of Motion Constrained and then click “OK”. Now when you try moving the lever around in your assembly environment it should only be able to move vertically.
