Rocket League Trading
Rocket League Trading is a process of exchanging items between players in the game. The most common items traded are keys and crates, but other items such as decals, toppers, and boosts can also be traded. In order to trade with another player, both players must first agree to the trade and then exchange their tradeable items through a trade window.
Players can only trade items that they own and have not currently equipped on their car. Any item that is currently equipped on a player’s car must first be un-equipped before it can be traded. To do this, go to the “Garage” tab in the main menu, hover over the item you wish to un-equip, and click the “U” button that appears.
Once both players have agreed to a trade and have exchanged their items through the trade window, the trade is complete! Be sure to check out our guide on how to get started with trading if you’re interested in learning more about this process.
How Do I Sell Items on Rocket League Steam?
To sell items on Rocket League, you’ll need to go to the Steam Community Market. From there, you can either browse through the items that are currently for sale, or list your own item for sale.
When listing your own item, you’ll first need to select what type of item it is (e.g. car part, decal, goal explosion, etc.), and then give it a name and description.
You’ll also need to set a price for your item in credits. Once everything is set up, you can then click on the “List Item” button to put your item up for sale. Keep in mind that there is a 5% fee charged by Steam when listing an item for sale, and they will also take a small cut of any sales that are made.
With that said, selling items on Rocket League can be a great way to earn some extra credits to use towards new items!
Can You Trade in Items in Rocket League?
In short, yes you can trade in items in Rocket League. However, there are a few things to keep in mind before trading any items. For starters, all trades must be conducted through the Steam Client or through the In-Game Trading system.
Secondly, only certain items can be traded such asCredits (a virtual currency used in Rocket League), Decryptors (an item used to open crates), and select Keys and Items from Crates. Lastly, any item that is traded away is permanently gone and cannot be recovered. Now that we got the basics out of the way, let’s get into how trading works in Rocket League.
If you’re looking to trade with another player, the first thing you’ll need to do is add them as a friend on Steam. Once they’ve been added as a friend, you can then invite them to a Private Match where you can conduct the trade. Another way to trade is through the In-Game Trading system which can be accessed by going to “Options > Inventory > Trade In Items”.
This menu will show you all of the eligible items that you can trade in for Credits. To finalize a trade, simply drag and drop the desired item(s) into the designated area and hit “Trade Up”. That’s all there is too it!
Just remember, once an item has been traded away it cannot be recovered so make sure that you really want to part ways with an item before completing a trade!
